Hi, i have just bought a hyundai santa fe 2003. we live in a very hot place (average 35 degrees) We got bogged in sand a few times yesterday and thecoolant started boiling and then today after 1 hour of driving the coolant was boiling again? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciatted, Thanks,
Emma, how is the coolant level? Have you had to add any? Check the cooling fan(s) to make sure they are kicking on when the engine temperature rises. If they are not going on, check for a bad cooling fan switch.

Hi,
We only bought the car 2 weeks ago and the coolant was nearly empty so we flushed the coolant and refilled it. Also the temp gauge did not go up when the coolant was boiling. Thanks
