My check engine light is stay on....how can I cancel it?

no. you need to pull the trouble codes for why the check engine light was flashing. most likely bad spark plugs/wires.

as part of the solution i first must ask, is the check engine light on? if not, it may just be time for general maintenance (spark plugs, wires, throttle body cleaning, injector system cleaning). second, while running and running in idle, is the idle varying (continually reving up and down), rough, low or none of the above? answer back and i can help out a little more.

I would suspect your turn signal switch is bad. Possible relay is stuck. TJ

It needs to be reset probably has a p0440 code in the computer.

Take your car to your local auto parts superstore, and have them check for the fault codes that are triggering the light. Usually done for free.

Or take it to your mechanic. Take it from there. Hope this helps.
