Install an external mechanical (yours is electro-mechanical) oil pressure gauge on the engine and read actual oil pressure. If it is below 15psi at normal idle warm, (I like a reading of 30 or above on jeeps) then you will need to determine the reason. Causes can range from worn bearings to obstructed oil pump pickup screen. Any knocking inside the engine tells you there is a bearing problem...really doesn't matter which bearing it is, likely all are worn and will need replacement, or engine needs rebuild or replacement. I've been doing this a long time and have found that in-car bearing replacement, unless done very early on and "matching" bearings to existing clearances, will most times relieve the problem for a few days or weeks and therefore is pretty much a waste of time and $.
If mechanical gauge reads normally, likely the sending unit or the passage going to it is plugged or the unit itself is going bad.

Check or replace the oil pressure sending unit.

When the gauge is at 0, is there any noise from the engine (tick, knock etc?) I would have someone put a mechanical gauge on there and read true pressure.Your driving pressure seems OK but if the low number is "real" something is wrong!

The Oil pressure sensor seams to have gone bad and needs to be replaced soon as possible as they tend to leak oil soon after. There common to go bad and start with that since it's easier then replacing the oil pump, but if you don't hear any ticking from the engine and you have good pressure when the engine is cold then it's the sensor.
The 4 cylinder oil pressure switch is located below the A/C compressor. It is a single wire connection with a gray/yellow striped wire.
The 6 cylinder oil pressure switch is located on the passenger side rear of the block. It is a single wire connection with a gray/yellow striped wire.
Good luck and hope this helps.

Change the oil! The 318Cu in V8 (5.2 liter) engine has a problem with sludge build up on the oil pump pickup tube screen. This engine requires oil changes at or before 3500 miles with a high detergent oil.

You may have a defective oil sender or oil pump or the wire is loose. Why did you replace the sender and pump. If this was going on before this you couple have an engine issue. Take it in before it destroys the engine. Chrysler/Dodge has has lots of issues with oiling problems.
