Check and lube the Idle Air Control (IAC) valve,

This tiny electric motor is mount on top valve cover and close to the accelerator cable.

The function of IAC motor is to idle up the RPM when more load is added.

Example: A/C on,light on,stop light on and radio on.

A stuck IAC can be free by few soft tape on the body of the motor.

To lube the worm gear,you will need WD-40 to free up the old grease and lube white lithium grease.

Clean the electrical contacts with CRC electric part cleaner.

This electric motor is very expensive.

Please handle it with care.

    Fron day one (1998) the IDC motor is pre-lube with a coat of white lithium grease.

    Over the year this coat of grease will dry up and start binding the movement of the worm gear (spiral gear).

    The worst case is a burn out motor.

    =======
    THE FIX

    Take off the IAC motor and clean out the old 1998 lithium grease and re-apply fresh grease.

    Install the motor.

    Check for more rpm increase movement with load change.

    Suzuki should stay with NGK stock plug.

    Look at the sticker under the hood for the correct spark plug recommendation and the correct gapping on the plugs.

    The IAC is an electrical motor (LOOK FOR WIRES and CONNECTOR)

    It's on the TOP portion of the valve cover.
    Closer to the end of the throttle cable.

    It's job is to increase RPM when the engine under load.

    Get a friend who is into car and with a little help you will found this small electrical motor.

    0.044" or 1.11 mm is the standard gap.

    The plug type is PRINTED on a STICKER under the hood or near the left or the right side of the radiator support.

    I'm in USA and I do not have access to Suzuki Baleno part cross reference chart.

    =========

    Leaky injector and/or dry rotted o-ring is the primary cause of spark plug fouling.

    Carefully remove the black plastic air inlet tube.

    Looking into the throttle plate.

    Spray carburetor cleaner into the intake chamber.

    Clean and wipe the dirt off the throttle plate.

    Let the vapor air out.

    install the black plastic tube.

    ======

    Clean / replace air filter.

    Tighten the intake manifold and the surrounding bolts /screws.

    This will help prevent additional (un-metered) air draw into the combustion chamber.

    Additional air will create an above 14.7 (air) to 1 fuel mixture.

    =======

    I'm in USA and we has Suzuki Swift 1.3L 4 cyc engine.

    You engine may be a transplant from a 1995 Baleno. .

    I recommend you to repost this and state which country this Baleno home market.

    Also has the VIN number of the motor posted so someone can verify/decode the year of this 1.3 liter engine.

Ill answer in the generic and for GAS engines. only.
that is illegal RPM, the ECU regulates it to 800 all the time
that means the ECU can not regulate the RPM now, for many reasons.
and sure it vibrates too low, that is normal for all 4cylinders to do that.
no bad engine mounts never lower RPM to 600, ever.
they dont control idle speed at all.
the #1 reason for most cars to idle too low are:
1: EGR leaks, (clean it)
2: ISC stuck closed (electric idle speed acututor dirty) clean it.
3: gross misfiring , caused by bad spark or bad fuel mix.
4: low compression on 1 or more cylinders (real low) Do compression test at WOT. throttle.

After my 92 rodeo runs awhile it falls on its face then starts to idle at about 2500 rpm and wont stop. When I shut it off and try to restart it it starts real hard and acts like its flooded and blows...

THROTTLE BODY needs to be taken apart and cleaned. Hand clean the sensor and idle valve, they are electric do not soak them, check them also, Idle valve likes to stick and position sensor likes to go out. HUNT

I had replaced spark plugs with NGK BKR6E-11. The fuel economy has gone down dramatically after this change. The plugs I was using earlier were NGK BKR6E-11 and then the mileage has now gone down. Now I am...

You are correct in saying the gap. Call a suzuki dealer, ask for service and as what the gap should be. Your problem is more than likely not having set the gap. Before you change that gap, if you can, measure what is now vs/what it should be. You will need a feeler gauge. Grainger sells the, so des NAPA.

88 dodge shadow idles very ruff. pedal to floor to start.

i have an 88 dodge shadow turbo with a five speed. the car will fall on its face at 5500rpm coming out of first gear. and its rpm range gets lover with each gear. the fuel pressure rises when it fall on its face. the car never dies just falls then picks back up and will fall again unless you keep it under the that rpm. then it is fine. what could be the problem?

RPM Is Very High On AC Load

check the solenoid that control the engine RPM the solenoid will work if the compressor run, this will increase your rpm when AC on. location near the carburetor.

Suzuki Baleno (esteem) 1999. Engine Idle RPM not stable

you probably need to check the butterfly. its the compinent that controls how much air goes into the engine if it is weared than in idle state air leaks into the engine sometime more sometimes less and cause fluctuations in rpm

secondly there is a rpm switch which controls the rpm you can replace that switch and check

My RPM fall down

That is normal. When you put it in gear, the idle speed drops about 400 rpm.
