Dose your fan work at all.if the fan works ok then go with this idea, if you know where the thermastat is pull it out , and the run it a day or two to see if it overheats then. if it stills over heats then, then your water pump is'nt turning. another way to test to see if your thermastat is working check the bottom of it to see what the temprature rating is , then put it in some water on stove and heat it to the temp. the thermastat shold open at that temp you saw on the bottom.
