MM theft system has been activated on my 98 Pontiac Sunfire and now my car won't start. I've checked my trunk for a button and I've removed the alarm fuse and still my car won't start.

its triggered buy ignition lock cylinder if its worn it malfunctions replace ignition cylinder

try disconnect battery for 30sec.

Do you see a light anywhere on the dash that says SECURITY? This means that the anti theft system is shutting down your injectors. Very common on GM vehicles. If so, check out this link.

Repair the anti theft system as car thinks you are trying to steal it.

Check all of the vacuum connections. The brake booster vacuum line.

You might not need a tumble, the sys is controled by the key, and transponder, and the ecm. Most auto locks smiths can come out and check the system, might just need a key re-programed

turning left and stalling sounds like your power steering pressure switch is bad.as for other problem try unlocking drivers door using the key this should reset the factory alarm. also make sure you didn't miss a wire when reconnecting bat. look for 12gauge red wire near bat. this goes to computer if not connected car will crank but not start.
