Either in the center of the tension pulley or on the arm that the tension pulley is bolted to there is a square hole that is the size of the square on a 1/2" ratchet. Take a 1/2" ratchet and stick it in that hole and I think most of them you put it in the tighten position and pull on the ratchet. the tension will release and you can remove the belt.
remove your front right tire. remove the black plastic splash cover. loosen the tightening wheel bolt, under to the left, under the fly wheel. make a diagram of the way the belt is or goes before removing, replace belt. tighten the wheel bolt. and start engine.
