You need to get the serial number off the sticker attached to the radio. It will require pulling apart your dash. Call an Acura dealership with that serial number and they should be able to provide you the code. Or you can take it directly to the dealer but you will be charged labor.

i had this problem when i bought my mdx second hand. i called the acura dealer and they gave me a code. you will need ur serial numbers off the sticker on the top of the radio.keep it safe cause when ever u dissconnect your batt it is gonna do it all over again!
You will have to pull the radio out and get the serial # and the model # off the chassis, then take that to the dealer and they can run that info and get the code from honda data base about build data of your car.

Press preset buttons 1 and 6 at the same time.
Turn on radio.
An 10 digit serial number will appear on display. make sure to include the small numbers or letters as well. This only works if the radio is locked. After getting the radio serial number you will need your VIN number...call the dealership where you purchased the vehicle and give them both numbers and they can get it for you...thats the only way I know how to get the code.
