I have a 2000 dodge dakota with a v6 maginum. When I excelerate it back fires and feels like a miss, but it runs normal when not under exceleration pressure. any ideas ?

Check for spark at the plug ( may have coil problem). If spark is good then do a compression check. Pressure shouldn't be less than 75% of known good cylinders.
check your vac. lines if there is a crack or one of them is off it will **** way to much air and there will be missing and no power. start by looking at the lines and listening for air.
