Chirpping noise coming from the ABS system, why? Under the hood there is a black ball like cylinder right under the brake fluid resevior, that says something about being "pressurized" that seem to vibrate everytime the chirp sound appears, does that hold some type of fluid or what is that used for?

HBB- hydralic brake booster
there was a recall for that - check you local dealer with VIN. I had the same thing, but somehow mine didn't fall under that even though the symptoms were as described by recall - as soon as you touch brake pedal it chirps. some metal baffle inside corroded and it's loosing the pressure
i ended up paying dealership $300 part and labour about 3-4 hrs.

Brake pedal loosing pressure

Honda had two brake reservoirs one on the normal brake master cylinder the other on the ABS module. If abs fuse has no power the module has no power. that power comes from the main fuses in underhood fuse box. the abs system is supplement system to normal braking system loss of brake pedal is a air problem or drum brake adjustment problem or a loose wheel bearing pushing the caliper piston back into caliper requiring more fluid to get brake to work causing a low pedal.

DANGER ! DO NOT DRIVE IT !!!!

cause by:
1: breach in system, see DOT3/4 fluid on pavement or on fire wall
next to MC? front and Rear !!! on inside of tire walls?
2: MC end of lie.
got ABS , you did not say.
my guess, not , it started in 1996, but some cars 91.(have one)

3: air in the system. end to end.
usually caused by removing parts, and not bleeding system

MC = master cyclinder the pedal connects to.

Can't find where to add brake fluid or where to check brake fluid level.

there is your brake master cylinder on the drivers side under the hood. if you open the hood and look at the car it is driver side in the back of the engine compartment it will be a silver or black aluminum object with brake lines atached to the bottom of it, attached to the top of it is a squar/oval container with a metal band over the top of it once u see it you can telll witch way you need to push the band and it will slide off the top of the resevior that is weere you check and fill your brake fluid

I have a 94 cavalier the abs light came on and now i have no brakes the pedal goes to the floor and some kind of noise is coming from under the hood

That sounds like you may have broken a brake line except for the noise under the hood. Unless it is brake fluid squirting up, hitting the hood. Check the inside of all four tires and under the hood on the driver's side below the wind shield. My guess is you are going to find a big oily spot where all of your brake fluid has gone.

My 97 jeep grand cherokee makes a chirping sound under front

The noise and the light may or may not be related. The noise may be the wear indicator on the brake pads touching the rotor (they are supposed to do that when brakes are worn) The abs light triggers off a wheel on the axle end. If you have a bad joint on the axle, it could be noisy and causing the wheel to not have the proper clearance to the abs sensor. You really need to take the wheel and brake assembly off and carefully inspect everything. Make sure all abs sensor wires are undamaged...it doesn't have to be at the same wheel that's chirping.

2003 Sonoma SLS 6 cylinder 4.3L ABS issue

I WOULD NOT KEEP DRIVING IT.WHEN ABS LIGHTS AND BRAKE LIGHTS COME ON.YOU HAVE BRAKE FAILURE. TOW IT TO DEALERSHIP HAVE IT SERVICE.AND CHECK THE ABS BRAKES SYSTEM .BECAUSE ABS BRAKE SYSTEM IS NOT A HOME FIX.BECAUSE THE ABS HYDRAULIC MODULATOR UNIT HAS LOWER FROM HOME POSITION .IN ORDER TO MOVE THE MASTER CYLINDER FROM UNIT.YOU NEED A TECH 2 SCANNER TO DO THE JOB.TO GET ABS BRAKES TO BLEED RIGHT BEST TO GET THEM PRESSURE BLEED INSTEAD OF MANUAL BLEEDING GET LESS AIR IN SYSTEM.THAT WHY SEE DEALER SHIP HAS THE THINGS TO DO THE JOB.

Brake fluid is forced out under pressure from ABS resevior

Hi,welcome to fix ya. this usually happens when the solenoids stick in the modulator . take the car to a dirt road and apply the brakes several times to activate the ABS system to clean up the valves in the solenoids. this usually frees them up. if not you will need to replace the ABS modulator.

Sounds like low fluid in the hydraulic clutch system, look under the hood next to the firewall on the drivers side should be a small resevior with a black top. Remove the top and check the level, if it gets even slightly low this problem will occur. it takes dot 3 or 4 brake fluid. If it is not low it could be that your slave cylinder is going bad. Also you may need to change out the fluid in your transmission, recomended at 60,000 mile intervals.
