Driveline vibration I have a 2007 Ford Fusion AWD with 61,000 miles on it. It is a 6 speed automatic. Around 50-55 mph it has a pretty good vibration in the driveline. Sounds and feels like right in the center of the driveline.Anyone else had this problem ? Please let me know what causes this so I can correct it. Thanks.

I have a 09 fusion v6 AWD that has 52,000 miles on it and I just had the PTU power transfer unit replaced, it started with vibration and went to all kinds of noise and banging, the repair was done by Ford, the unit is not repairable, hope this helps.

SOURCE: Driveline vibration 2007 Ford Fusion AWD

Has the car even been in an accident? If so it could be a bent frame (worse case), Otherwise the car could be off balance and needing an alignment (Most likely - best case) :)

My 2007 Ford Fusion is starting to slip out of gear when I take it about 30+ miles. The fluid is brown and smells burnt. If I replace the fluid will that fix the problem or is my transmission screwed?

a change of oil will be a big help
while the pan is off have the bands and clutch packs adjusted
Have the work done by an accredited specialist professional auto transmission shop
At this point there is no need for a replacement transmission

Unknown operation of the front diff.

please ask again.
are you asking a driveline question, and is vastly complex. read it.
awd?
off the wiki, , does this help,?
the Ridgeline is powered by a transversely mounted J35A9, (2006-2008) J35Z5, (2009-present) 3.5 L V6 with a five speed automatic transmission. The all-wheel drive system operates in front-wheel drive mode under normal conditions and automatically transfers power to either rear wheel via a locking differential when it senses a loss of traction in the front. The VTM-4 system can be locked in first, second or reverse gears at speeds under 18 mph (29 km/h).
The VTM-4 lock (rear diff lock) works in full rear power mode up until 6 mph (9.7 km/h) then it gradually transitions to power to the front and releases the VTM-4 lock at 18 mph (29 km/h)

2007 ford fusion awd v-6 driveline or suspension area or assembly makes a noise (possibly a bearing) when car is in motion. When not moving and motor is running, there is no noise. Appears to be coming...

It sounds to be a Constant Velocity Joint (CV JOINT)...You can look under the car at the ft.axles nd inspect the cv joint rubber boots...Normally they will split from wear or road debree and through the grease out making the bearings go bad...However some will go bad without the boot being torn...If that is the case it is best to replace the whole axle when determining which side it is.....Hope this helps..Check all components for looseness ...You really need to put it on a lift and check it.......Metalpoet

Oscillating vibration around 60-70 mph in 6th gear

sounds like a cv joint to me. That is what usually occurs when one is showing wear. C.V joints usually wear out between 80,000 and 120,000 k.m.
