Sounds like you had air in the system.Check the heater hoses going from the engine into the car.On most cars they have a plastic bleed screw Losen that screw run engine filling the water tank untill you have no air coming out tighten screw check water level. That should do it.If you have not got a plasic screw on the hose just slacken the clips to allow air to escape good luck.Phil.

Why there is no heat on my 06 Impala, blower motor is working

Sounds like you might have a low coolant level. I would verify that the cooling system is full and bleed out any air that might be in the system

Heater in 1995 Bronco is blowing cold air....What could be causing this?

If the heater is blowing cold air and the car is overheating, it is likely that the problem is related to the engine cooling system as well. The following are some issues that may be causing the heater to blow cold air:
  • Low coolant levels
  • A plugged/clogged heater core
  • A faulty thermostat (thermostat that is stuck)
  • Broken blower and/or blower motor
  • Heater core bypass hoses that have leaks
  • Heater core bypass hoses that are worn
If your car is overheating and/or your heater is not working, it should be inspected and diagnosed as soon as possible.

Air conditioner suddenly stops blowing cold and starts blowing heated air. Control panel indicates that it is still on air conditioner. Switching the control from vent to cold does not have any effect. ...

If you are absolutely confident the AC compressor is not kicking out on low pressure then it is the blend door actuator.

The blend door determines how much air blows through the heater core or evaporator.

The actuator can be purchased at dealer and maybe at a local part store.

2005 Grand Prix heater works fine when blower is off-air coming thru vent gets hot; once blower is turned on air turns cold. Why?

Sounds like a clogged heater core- insufficient coolant circulating through heater core, and as soon as you blow air past the core, it get cooled off.

When i have the heater/defroster on the heater below blows cold air while the defrost blows hot. when i switch to just defrost the bottom heater stays on and blows cold air. when i have front dash and...

It sounds like you have a blend air door stuck. This is in the housing of the heater a/c blower unit under the passenger side of the dash. There is a motor on the top of the housing that could possibly be stuck or on working.

Bmw 523i se heater blows hot and cold

Sounds like a thermostat sticking. Some things to do. First check coolant level is up and moving. Second (most likely), change thermostat. Very easy fix for backyard mechanic. Make sure to put thermostat in so water flow is correct direction. Look for arrow on side of thermostat. Next, is belt to water pump loose. Another easy fix in most cars.
