Firing sequence what is the firing sequence for the saturn sl 2 96??

Did you check for B+ volt an ground at ignition module before replacing the coil's ? Videos on youtube showing how to test GM ignition systems

there is an ignition module, which sits underneath the coils, has been known to go bad.

fuel filter could be clogged,getting just enough gas to carb.
also check for leaks in line where air can get in.
