Sounds like the connection from the battery to the chassis ground is bad. Try replacing the Negative battery wire and make sure where it attaches to the frame is as rust free as possible

Testimonial: "The possitive conneciton on battery was dirty. Once cleaned it fired right up. Thanks for you response."

My ac blow hot do not hear compressor turn on 90 Toyota gt

It is very easy to check an a/c compressor clutch. Looking at the compressor, you should find a wire running from the pump the wiring harness. There should be a connector where you can disconnect the wire from the main loom, disconnect it and connect a length of electrical wire to the wire going to the pump. Connect the other end to the battery positive and you should hear the clutch clicking in. If you don't, the clutch is bad.
If it does click in, you should look at the fuses (should actually look there first) and the relay if it has one. By the way, if you connect the wire as described and you hear the click, you could actually leave the wire in place and start the engine and you should feel the cold air.

1990 toyota celica gts 2200 motor vibration when idled up

You may want to check your motor mounts. If the mounts are broken or just too old they will cause the engine to have excessive vibration your notice also when shifting to drive or reverse it will feel like the vehicle jumps. replacing the mounts will help if they are damaged or may be that the vehicle needs a tune up.

Whats the max amount of miles you can drive on a 1990 toyota celica gts with the first engine?

If well maintained and with regular service this engine can last up to 150,000 miles. Remember, this means changing all fluids regularly, changing the hoses and belts regularly and just keeping the engine in tip top condition. No racing, no over revving, etc.

I'm trying to clear codes for a 1990 Celica GTS. Any hints??

You might try removing the battery connectors for five minutes and replacing back.

If the codes do not disappear, please you might have to get a scanner to do that.

Cheers.

Sunroof will not close

If you hear motor hum than it's probably a bad rail part. I have the same plastic rail part and both sides broke. Can't find a replacement anywhere.

Fuel filter

at the begining is very complicate because it is necessary to remove a lot of pieces. I had the same problem and solved it cutting the fuel line and I had to install a new filter with clamps. It will allow you to remove it again without problem.
