I have 1990 Toyota Celica GTS. When i turn the iginition I hear 1 click. I installed a new battery and still does not start. There is no power to any electrical ie; dome, dash headlights.
Sounds like the connection from the battery to the chassis ground is bad. Try replacing the Negative battery wire and make sure where it attaches to the frame is as rust free as possible
Testimonial: "The possitive conneciton on battery was dirty. Once cleaned it fired right up. Thanks for you response."
I too would check connections, make sure battery is installed correctly, then check main fuses under hood, pull out to check may find it blown. hope this helps
