I believe honda recommends around every 160 -170 KM, at the same time as the timing belt and water pump.

Fuel pump replacement. You may be able to just replace the fuel level sender. There was a recall on the fuel pump relay.

Two of my 2006 honda ridgeline spark plugs are in a difficult location. How do I change those 2 right back side plugs?

Mitsubishi use high quality platinum plugs in the back side of the V6 because of the difficulty of replacing them. I would not be surprised if Honda use the same idea.. Remember that with EFI engines the plugs will generally out last the engine any way and the old idea that it is necessary for a tune up is defeated by the fact that EFI engines have a ECM that keeps the engine in perfect tune or throws up a code to let you know other wise.

Yes. Replace both sides at the same time.
Some Ridgeline owners have a parts list of after-market items and have seemingly created a stronger version of the OEM part.

Location of the spark plugs for 2006 honda Ridgeline

There should be a plastic cover over the top of the engine. Remove that cover. You will then see the three coils on the front of the engine. Use a metric Allen or a 10mm socket to remove the bolts that hold the coils to the valve cover. Unplug the coils and then remove them. The plugs will be underneath. The rear three plugs are set up the Same way. They are a little more difficult to do but not impossible. If you have any questions let me know. Thank you for using fixya.com!

Usually around 50,000 to 60,000 miles it is always recommended to change the spark plugs.

Engine misfiring

I always replace plugs with same brand and number as came out whenever possible, just for that reason. I've seen too many engines run bad after changing from manufacturers recommended plugs.
