SOURCE: 2007 gmc sierra 2500 IAT sensor

Well, the IAT (Intake Air Temperature) sensor is located on the air intake duct between the filter and the throttle body (Assuming you have the 6L motor). The wires are easily visible at the plug that connects the sensor to the wiring harness. That's the easiest place to access them.

SOURCE: Service Throttle Control

It sounds like these things are all related. When the a computer sees a problem in the Electronic throttle system, it will dissable traction control, and give the reduced engine power alert because the powertrain computer does not know the value of throttle postion.
Codes will need to be scanned in the computersto begin diagnosis.

IT MEANS THAT YOUR TRACTION CONTROL NEEDS SERVICING BY A DEALER, OR REPAIR CENTER. IT IS ALL COMPUTER CONTROLLED, LIKE A MAJORITY OF YOUR CARS COMPONENTS.

My 2009 GMC Sierra SLE 4/4 K Series after starting the Service Traction Control & Service Stabilitrak light as well as the check engine light come on and stays on. How do I correct this?

Hook up a professional grade scan tool and read DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes. then get service repair info. www.alldatadiy.com and do the diagnostic tests for that code. Thats how a professional tech does it.

My 2007 Yukon Denali has 86000mi on it. I shut it off and turned it back on 10mins later to see Service Traction Control, and Service Stabiltrak scrolling across the info screen. The truck runs poorly...

Ok just so you know that service traction control and stabiltrak well come on if there is any check engine light on and if it's running poorly then i have to guess that there is also a check engine light on!! Once there any repairs are done then you would have to clear out the codes in the ECM, traction and suspension in that order!! GOOD LUCK !
