I lost power steering and it apears a pulley which a belt was around has broken off. Serpentine belt is inract and car is not overheating and brakes and electricals are fine. I want to see a picture of under the hood to identify correctly if this is my power steering pump. Where can I access this on the web? 2003 honda pilot

Here is the serpentine belt routing for a 2013 VW CC with a V6 3.6 liter engine:
Start by locating the automatic belt tensioner on the front of the engine.
Route the belt around the crankshaft pulley at the bottom of the engine.
From there, route the belt around the idler pulley, which is just above the crankshaft pulley.
Next, route the belt around the alternator pulley, which is located on the top left side of the engine.
After the alternator, route the belt around the power steering pump pulley, which is located on the top right side of the engine.
From there, route the belt around the water pump pulley, which is located just above the power steering pump.
Finally, route the belt around the tensioner pulley, which should be the last pulley in the belt routing.
Double-check that the belt is properly seated on each pulley and that the routing matches the diagram on the engine or in the owner's manual before starting the engine.
Put the car in neutral with hand brake on. Take a socket wrench that fits the power steering or alternator pulley bolt ( or any one you can get to easily. )
You should be able to ratchet the pulley along with the serpentine belt around the belts's travel inch by inch and look for the number on top of the belt
Sounds as if you are missing your drive belt. You didn't mention your car type and engine size but check to see if you lost the belt that turns the power steering pump pully and if so does that same belt go around the alternator as well. Most of the later model cars have a serpentine belt that goes around all of your pulleys and it just sounds as if you lost your belt. Hope this is the problem as it is usually a pretty simple fix. Hope this helps.....
Yes, the serpentine belt runs all those pumps. Water , power steering, alternator ,ect. If its loose have the tensioner and belt checked out and replaced.
Sounds like your serpentine belt broke, if you look under the hood and it broke it won't be there,it runs the alternator pulley (battery light), power steering pump pulley (difficult steering), a/c compressor pulley, it is driven by the crankshaft pulley and around a tensioner pulley. You can pick one up anywhere for around 20 bucks and all you need to install it is a I believe a 14mm or 15mm socket or wrench to move the tensioner, the belt routing is usually pictured under the hood somewhere.
Have you checked your tie rods? Possibility one is either bent or broken, I've seen it before on TB's. That pulley shaft is a common problem to break, especially when cold out. PS pumps/pulley shafts and tie rods will snap if doing donuts in the snow with the steering wheel cranked, or off-roading. The PS is completely mechanical, no fuses or relays.
Sounds like your serpentine belt either fell off or broke. Check all the pulleys to make sure they rotate. Wiggle the water-pump pulley to see if the bearings are bad. Check the tensioner to make sure it isn't frozen or worn out. If all those check out fine replace the belt and see what happens.
Make sure the serpentine belt is still on the engine. Sounds like a pulley seized and the belt snapped. The belt runs everything including your alternator which is likely why it isn't running right...eventually it will stall and not start, or, overheat.
