Im having problems

I don't know what p2a01 is, but the O2 sensors are in the exhaust pipe before and after the catalytic converter.

probably your spark plugs or spark plug wires......
change spark plug and try it if surge occur
check air filter too

two yellow is mostlikley the front speaker the browns are the other speaker and im gessing that the grey wires is your hot and the black is ground

im surprised you 78 cj has an egr it must be modded out i would gess that your using an ecm for ignition check grounds fuel pressure pressure regulator if its egr your worried about its for emissions exaust gass recerculation it takes unused fuel frome your exaust recerculates it to the intake helps keep the intake cool and aplies the unused fuel to the intake better econamy but you have to have a cat to make it work if you do it may be pluged try taking the forward o2 sensor out and see if it stays running if it dose change the catalitic converter

I had the same problem with my RX. Had both knock sensors replaced and the problem went away. Be sure to take it to a Tech that has a good scan tool so he can pull the codes and narrow down the problem, From what I understand a constant check engine light is usually not a big deal probably a sensor but a blinking light means major trouble. Take it to a shop that specializes in Toyota and Lexus.

is this just the brake lights coming on or dose the car realy slow down? if its just the lights them change the brake light switch as i gess its fulty

fit a new tank or get some glue called "tank weld" its like a putty and will stop the leak dead in its tracks im gessing its rusted through?
