Unknown alarm lights up, Honda Civic Sedan 1,6, 2004

I have got an alarm lamp on, but I cannot find the reason.

It is an yellow alarm/light just next to the right from lubeoil alarm and the figur on the ikon is like a valve or so.

I am unsure whether it is a serious problem, which can hinder my home travel of approx 900 km.

Sounds like a low tire pressure light. check tires and set to factory specs as indicated on the drivers door pillar.then drive at about 40 mph. the light should go out.

Why won't it start?

Can be dirty or poorly connected battery terminals...lights etc can still work...but the starter requires good clean connections to crank (Draws more power) Also, the battery can have a bad cell causing the same symptom...have battery tested too...if not, the starter is bad. Hope this helps.

Changed the brain box on honda civic but the srs light still remains ?

The SRS light can be caused by a faulty switch in the drivers seat belt. Make sure that the switch is functioning properly. The SRS lamp can be cleared by removing the yellow plug in the circuit board under the dash (just under the steering wheel). Here's a pretty good link to a repair. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PYYzt04o5MU The car in the video is newer that 2003 but the repair is the same. Good luck

How to disable the alarm of honda civic 2007

On Accord - it does the same thing, but the solution is simple, don't hit the button the second time! It locks with just one push, the lights should blink to tell you. You don't need to push it twice if you don't want the horn to beep.

If the problem continued, You need to go to the honda dealer; factory alarms are wired into alot of the electrical systems, so, hard to bypass unless you have a wiring diagram.

Hope helped (remember comment and rates this) TY for using Fixya.

Replacing tail lights and brake light component on a honda civic

Most cars tail lights are atached by a couple of nuts from inside the trunk. you will have to peel back the carpet , or remove plastic cover panel if there is one.

Honda civic

An intermittant check engine light ( MIL, malfunction indicator lamp) usually means the system has noticed some trouble that has either corrected itself or has been compensated for. You can have a shop check the DTCs ( Diagnostic Trouble Codes), or for pending codes ( problems noticed but not enough to store a fault code)
