My 2006 had same problem. Where the wires go between the door and body of vehicle there is a black rubber chase for the wires. I peeled back the end of the rubber and found cracked and broken wires. This is part of the wiring harness for the window and door locks. It was easier to remove door panel and some harness clips. I disconnected the harness at the main body( there is a plug connection) and pulled the harness back thru the door. This gave me the room I needed to make the repair. I spliced all the broken wires and have not had a problem since. It is a very tight space so take your time.

Power windows are not usually fused. They have a circuit breaker that controls all the windows. So if only one window is not working it is something like a bad switch or window motor. Remove the door panel and unplug the connector to the window motor and check for power and ground when activating the switch.

Hiya...the factory-installed keyless remote control are installed in most Equinoxes IF SO equipped with this option that year.
However, it's difficult to get "true factory-installed" keyless feature in your Equinox ....but new 2008-2009 Equinoxes built this year now comes with standard keyless remote and yes, new option is remote STARTER feature (that option is identified by a black wire found inside the rear-right quarter window with thin metal line surrounding that interior window to receive signal from remote starter fob)
At least you can find after-market keyless remote control at your local retail store.

I had the same problem with my wifes car 2007. dr window will not work and power door lock will not unlock the driver door. I had the whole car torn apart, the switch was fine all motors were fine. After you replace the master switch The dealer still has to program it so I ended up bring to the dealer any way, I wish they would have told me that when i bought the master switch.

their are fuses that control the windows so check those out then check the wiring with a test light if the poblem is still their you ma need to replace the driver side window motor
