I need to replace a dead battery on an '89 Cutlass Ciera.
I have an '89 Cutlass Ciera with a dead battery. there is a frame bracket blocking removal of the battery. is there another way to get the battery out without removing the bracket?

Turn signal flasher on 1994 Cutlass Sierra is mounted on clip attached to side of ashtray frame. Remove the ashtray frame by removing two screws on top and two on bottom. Flasher will be on right side.
Easy peasy...under where the antenna mounts should be the motor if its retractable and electrical connector..d/c the connector and remove the bracket, antenna should pull out - reverse for installation!
Replace the alternator,the alternator must be charging for the engine to perform,and the battery to be charged back up,if this was at all helpful,please rate,thank you.

Floor shift...same options. Tilt and/or no tilt is a matter of preference as the wiring harness is the same, so either will work. Floor shift is floor shift only,'89 and '90 Ciera, Century, Celebrity, 6000.
