We fixed the resister but my heat is still not blowing out! you can feel the heat when the truck gets warm but its not blowing the heat out the defrost works and so does the blowers in the back not sure what else it could be?!
I have a truck that the heater only works on high any answers to that? to fix it
In a 99 durango the front blower operates both front and rear systems. The ducting is ran under the center console and vented out the back of the console with lever stlye contols to adjust the feet/face venting. As H-t mentioned, check the blower motor fuse before going any further.
The blowers ion the back have there own blower motor. The front has it's own. The resister controls the range the blower motor runs on,( low, medium, high). If the blower motor is not working it may be the motor itself. Was the fuse checked:?

it just wont blow any air.
The problem most people have that requires a resistor replacement is the blower motor malfunctions only blowing out @ highest and lowest setting (Generaly). What is the issue? Is it not switching from floor boards/face/to defroster, or it wont blow hot air?
