With test light check voltage at horn assembly on both wire's, could only have one, horn assembly itself could be ground, have some one press horn button while checking, if there is voltage replace horn assembly, if no voltage horn pad at streeing wheel bad. that's being fuse and replay are good.

SOURCE: 2001 Silverado: horn or horns do not work Hit switch and can hear ...

only one horn sounds when you hit the button. the other horn is for the alarm and door locks etc. im not sure which is which, but have someone push the horn button while checking for power and ground at the harness connector. if power and ground are there, replace the horn. for your own sanity, buy an original equipment horn that just plugs right in, a universal aftermarket requires you to frankenstein your wiring. good luck!

SOURCE: horn does not sound

horn is under the hood. usually right against the grill or mounted on fender well. fuses for horn can be under the dash, or in fuse panel under the hood.

SOURCE: My 1996 jetta horn does not work. Fuse / relay okay

hi did you also checked the horn itselfs. when you take out the horn and look at the back you will see a adjust srew with sealingmastic on it. you can remove the sealingstuff and try to adjust the horn. this only works if the coil is not broken. but first you have to check the connection inside the steeringwheel. make sure the switch in the steeringwheel is making contact to earth. if this all doesnt work you have to buy a new one goodluck.

My horn relay does NOT click, but is good/works.

You possibly broke the horn button inside of the steering wheel.

2000 VW Jetta TDI my Horn just stopped! I don't know which relay to start by, The fuse is good but no V at horns Is there a wiring diagram to be had?

There is a "clockspring" wiring spiral in the steering wheel to accommodate the rotating steering wheel with controls on it. If this breaks, you may lose some or all functions controlled by stuff on the s-wheel.

Horn stop working

Check the fuse, good? Switch relays with a known good relay of the same type, still no good? Check for power at the horn, should be 12v present with horn applied. If so, you need a new horn.

My vw 2002 cabrio's horn has stopped working. How much does it cost to repair and could it be just a fuse?

yes, it could be a fuse OR a relay. If the fuse is good look for the relay. The relay (probably in a box with other relays under the hood) should make a click when someone pushes the horn button. If the relay clicks, the problem is probably the horn. To verify the horn is bad, hotwire it to the battery and see if it blows. You can look up the cost of a new horn online. I don't think they are expensive. Let un sknow if you have more questions. If all of these parts are good the problem is in the horn button or wiring. Please get back to us if it comes down to that.

Horn on my 2002 Linclon Ls stopped working

easiest way to check a relay is to swap it with an identical, known good relay. look at the part number on the horn relay, find a matching one in the fusebox (maybe A/C compressor or low beam). if it still doesn't work, have someone press horn while you touch the relay. you should feel it click if it is activating. if it clicks, the switch is good. if not, the switch is not sending power to activate relay

Horn just stop blowing,won't blow

When you press on the horn button do you hear the horn relay click? The start at the horn, bench test it, if it works then check for power, is the fuse good and is the relay ok. If the stuff checks out then it may be the horn contacts behind the steering wheel.
