If it blinks on one side and not the other, then check for a burnt out light bulb or corroded lamp socket. If neither side blinks then it is probably the blinker relay or a blinker fuse.
check all of the bulbs on that side 1 of them my not be working(it may light up but not flash because some of those bulbs are combo bulbs)meaning that some turn signals are used by part of your tail lights or break lights.
When you turn on the right blinker does the indicator light come on? It could be a faulty turn signal switch. The turn signals are routed through the hazzard switch, sometimes you can switch on and off the hazzard switch several times and the turn signals could start working again...Hey it's worth a try..
You can check your blinker relay located in the fuse box. You should have 2 of them. 1 is for the emergency blinkers. Trade them to see if this corrects the problem. The other issue could be the multi switch is not functioning properly all the time.
