Need to know the firing order for a 1999 ford windstar van V6

Your firing order of the engine is 1 - 4, 2 - 5 , 3 - 6 and looking in front of the vehicle toward engine on your coil is 1 - 5, 2-6 , 3-4. Hope this will help you!

First Get both Vin Numbers
Second Take Vin Numbers to yur Local Parts Person and have them check to make sure nothing has changed in those years. Some times their are up dates , or sometimes the company made changes and then if they did changes , than no it would not work.

Either the heads are cracked, the cylinder walls are cracked, or the head gaskets didn't seal properly. You need to check your catalytic converter/exhaust, there probably is what caused the problem & accounts for why the smoke is coming out of the top of the motor, it can't escape through the exhaust due to the blockage.
