Hi, I have a diesel Ford Mondeo on an 02 plate. It's central locking system has a mind of it's own. The front passenger door will not work at all and it only sometimes unlocks the rear doors. When i lock the car using the remote central locking it will lock the car then immediately unlock it again. I have to lock the car using the lock in the door going round and checking all the other doors are locked after (which can get quite tedious!). I have had the car plugged into a computer for it's ECU and it didn't detect a fault. Please could someone advise me on how to fix this!!!
thanks

Hi I have a Toyota Avensis 4d saloon 2.0 TD 1998 R reg the problem i have is the central locking does not work it stopped working after a heavy frost
I will say you are having problem with central locking vacuum module.Either that or you are loosing vacuum in the central locking system some where.Diagnostic procedure can be pain in the ***.I would advise you to locate the Module and follow the lines to each door.If rubber vacuum lines are not thorn,I would go and get to salvage yard and get me another module that would be much cheaper. Also there is two relays. One is for unlocking and other one for locking.Try those first before anything else.Usually humidity and cold could damage them.Hope I could help you.
