Yesterday when I went to work the battery and brake light were on when I got off the exit to get to work the battery and brake lights went off. Approxmitaly 12 hours later when I started the car to go home the car started and the brake and battery lights came on again by the time I got home all of the lights including the radio screen were very dim when I pulled into my parking spot. I turned the car off and the car would not start. This morning when I went out to go to work the car started and the battery light were on again. I replaced the battery and alternator approx. 14 months ago. This afternoon I purchased a new battery and the brake and battery lights were on once again. The lights remained lit most of the trip home but went off about one block from my home. When I got home I turned the car off and turned it back on. When I turned the car on the battery and brake lights were not lit. Approx. two hours later i started the vehicle and the battery and brake lights did not come on. I traveled approx. one block from my home and the brake and battery lights came on. I did not think that the problem was with the alternator because the alternator charged the battery last night. The battery in the vehicle at this time is brand new. Do you have any idea what the problem may be?

Try a day time running light modual, these things are notorious for messing up,and since they are supposed to work when the car is charging it seems like the logical solution.
