Look for a bulb to be out, the flasher cycles rapidly when there is a bulb out in the system. Which ever side it flashes faster on you have a bulb that is not operating.

Cant resolve a blinker issue, Tried the easy stuff.

The signal wire going to the right front has a splice for the dash indicator, a wire branching off from the turn wire and going to the dash. It sounds like that right signal wire is broken or lost a connection before it splices off to the dash, so the problem sounds like it is under the dash, either coming out of the turn signal switch to the flasher or from the flasher to that splice. You may need a multi-meter to check voltages on that wire at various places under the dash. Ascertain which color wire you need to concentrate on. Check for voltage on it with key on and right blinker on-voltmeter will spike to battery voltage, then fall to zero as the flasher breaks voltage continuously, if checked after the flasher. If checked when leaving the turn switch, it should be a continuous signal on that wire. Think you better find a wiring diagram to find the right wire to check. Good luck.

Sporadic blinkers

There is a flasher fuse that is often the problem with what you are describing. Typically these are the size of the old radio tubes but in an all silver casing and labeled as such.

BLINKER

The emergency flasher in the center of your dash is a module. it is causing this problem. call your local GM dealerand givethem your VIN# because some of these were replaced for no charge to the customer. VIN# is on a steel plate mounted to the top of your dash. it can be seen thru the driverside corner of your windshield, from out side the car. This is called a flasher module, and it will stop your tail lamps from working also.It is veryimportant to do this as soon as posible.

I have a ticking like a blinker sound ticking inside my vehicle.. it sounds like a continuous blinker going. All my out side lights flashers blinkers are working .What could this be?

look for the hazzard /4 ways switch. see if this is where this ticking is coming from. if so slowly move the turn signal switch . if it stops or changes, you have a bad turn signal switch. the hazzard and the turn signals operate through the hazzard switch..it has a built in relay.hope this was helpful

I here a ticking noise from under my glove box it sounds like the signel ligght is still on when its not

This is tough without actually being there but it could either be your flasher solenoid or a vent door (for the heater or ac) that is getting stuck and cycling back and forth. Hopefully this gives you an idea of where to start looking. I know GM did have trouble around your year with flasher solenoids going bad left and right. The blinkers work fine but the solenoid starts going bad, especially if you live somewhere that has seen a little moisture lately.

Ticking noise underneath the car approximately midway.

The sound you hear is the metal parts of your exhaust system and catalytic converter cooling down. Some cars are louder than others but the sound is perfectly normal.

I have a 1991 isuzu space cab pickup and the passenderside blinkers dont work all for flashers work and drivers side does but when i click to the left it just makes a tick tick tick really fast but no...

I think this is common in these trucks, I usually whack/wiggle my hazards switch (on the top of the steering column), and it fixes my blinkers. More than likely there is a short between the hazards and the blinkers. Hope that helps.

Check/replace the flasher control unit.
This unit is usually located under the dashboard. (It's the unit that normally sounds the audible 'click- click ' when the indicators flash).

Fast Blinker noise driving me crazy Mystery of what the heck it could be

Replace the Turn Signal Relay, it's getting old and wore out. When you replace it, the sound will remain, but it won't be near as fast a sound.
