I have a 1997 pontiac Grand Prix and the headlights are not working. All the parking lights work. I've checked the fuses and cannot find the problem. Any suggestions?
A possable culprit may be your High / Low or dimmer switch. All the power to your lights are controled through that switch.
Testimonial: "It appears that is the problem, the book says to remove the steering wheel to remove the switch. I broke the wheel and now I'm in deep Do Do."

Could be the headlight switch. The switch has two sets of contacts for the parking lights, the park position and headlight position. You may need to check the circuit at the switch to see if you are loosing power when the switch is moved from park to head.
I drive a 07 Grand Prix and the low beams randomly went out. Could not get them to come back on, but all of the other lights worked (inside, parking, and high beams). found a forum online that recommended replacing the fuse/thing at location #35 in the fuse box under the hood. It worked immediately!! Got the part at Advanced Auto parts for $35 dollars.
how do you replace a headlight switch in a 07 grand prix gtp. head lights do not come on. all other lights work. fuses are good. amd so are the bulbs. was told that the headlights themselves were not getting a charge. and was told that it was the headlight switch.
The headlights will have small rods or adjusting screws located near the headlight mounting points. Will probably need a torx socket or screwdriver to adjust. Torx is a 6 point type screw.
