2000 ford taurus wagon 3ltr engine . heater blows hot then goes cool changed thermostat flushed complete cooling system changed water pump stays warm after about 1/2 hour of driving

Assuming the heater controls are ok there is a few possibilities.

The engine is being overcooled,
There is insufficient flow through the heater/the heater is partially blocked.
There is a permanent airlock in the heater/a failing head gasket is leaking an abnormal amount of combustion gas into the cooling system that is lodging in the heater and displacing coolant.

A partially blocked heater matrix is not unusual and is marked by seeming to have a good flow of hot coolant through it.

Normal flushing often doesn't shift the sort of sediment buildup that is common in a heater and high pressure air/water is often the only method that succeeds but it is a messy wet process that is very kill-or-cure - it is likely to destroy a weak heater matrix. The only alternative is to remove the heater matrix, dismantle it and rod the tubes through or simply replace it.

2000 ford escort over heats, and no heat .

try replacing thermostat and do a coolant flush, heater matrix behind dash is prone to blockage or leakeage ( with leakage usually footwells are always damp ) before you replace the coolant after flush, fill and drain with water a couple of times, should sort it and it easier than replacing heater matrix. if heater has not been working for a while, as in 12 / 18 months matrix replacement might be only option, but spending a couple of quid on flush is worth a try first

Hi my escort van 52 reg heater will only get slightly hot 1800

I'm not particularly familiar with that vehicle but all that I have seen also have a valve that opens and closes to allow or restrict the fluid flow to the heater core. It could be a problem if you haven't already eliminated it. The air defecting doors under the dash that direct air to the floor or to the defroster are also suspect.

Clio 1.1 cooling system

these suffer a bad heater matrix, the carpet gets wet.
head gasket, water goes brown.
water leak, under exhaust manifold a black steel pipe it pushes into block, there is a recess to hold an o ring on it rots away and leaks when driving making it hard to find, dont use rad weld as blocks heater matrix on these cars.
see if you have a water mark around the bottom pulleyas poss a leaking water pump, it will leave a white or brown mark around the pulley closer to the bulk head.

My heating is not working nothing wrong with termostat

low water clogged heater matrix or head gasket, take rad cap off, start engine, if bubbly then head or gasket, if all fine you need a matrix, this is very common to leak or clog, things like rad weld blocks them in months to come.

Spare tyre

Unfortunately, I did not find a user's guide for that model but spares (either full size or limited use) are generally found under a floor panel in the rear of the vehicle or suspended (common with trucks and many commercial vehicles) under the floorpan, outside of the vehicle and held by a chain or bracket arrangement. Some allow the use of the lug wrench to lower it to the ground.
