I have hooked a remote starter up to my 2002 town and country minivan. The remote itself works fine but I manually start my car unless I turn the key off and on atleast 2 times. Can you help me fix this issue? The remote starter is a i c dynamics. It comes with hardly anny directions and a very crappy wiring diagram. I beleive the model is an rs305 or something close to that.

The reason the radio and all other units go off when you turn the key to ignition is all the juice is being sucked by the starter motor ( happens to majority of the cars and is very normal). and if it didn't used to happen to you before is probably you had a battery with higher Amps before. Hope this helps.
Clean your battery terminal contact surfaces and verify actual battery voltage (should be at least 12v) Also check that both battery cables are secure and clean on other end. Then, check starter relay if problem continues.
I have a 97 Chrysler Town & Country Van with 104000 miles on it. The past two months the van will not start and run after driving for a while. Let it set for about an hour and it will start and run fine. When it does not want to run it will start and run for about 5 seconds then quit. During this time the dash instruments will not display but the radio, windows, and lights work just fine. The battery was replaced with in the past month so I don' t think that is the problem. Any seggestions?
