The flasher is under the dash.If you turn on the signal listen for it's location.Turn on your 4 way flasher and see if the left rear light is flashing. If it's not then replace the bulb.If it still does'nt work after replacing the bulb check if there is power to the socket. Use a probe light. If no power to the socket. There is a break in the wire or worse the signal switch may be the culprit
Hello. On a turn signal if the light turns on when the blinker is moved to the left or right, more than likely it is a turn signal flasher. Make sure bulbs are good. If it is a bad bulb the flasher would flash faster. Check flasher. good luck
Usually it is a bulb because it takes all 3 or 4 to make the flasher work. Not all bulbs have to work for the emergency flasher. If all of the bulbs are in fact good, it could be the turn signal switch. On rare occasions the flasher is the problem
It could be your clock sensor, or (Also known as) steering squib, it is located in the steering wheel, it can also cause intermittent air bag light warning, cruise control, radio control malfunction of steering wheel controls. It can also cause the horn not to work. If you have any of the other symptoms I would suggest this is your problem.
I NEED TO LOCATE THE SWITCH WHERE IS IT ?
MY INDICATORS NOR HAZARD LIGHTS ARE WORKING I DONT KNOW WHAT IS WRONG WITH IT CHANGED BULBS BUT NOTHIGN THEY ALL WENT OUT AT THE SAME TIME
SO THERE MUST BE A RELAY SWITCH SOMEWHER BUT DONT KNOW WHERE ?
THANKS FOR HELPING
If the fuses are good and the front and rear bulbs are good, change the flasher for the turn signals, even tho the right is working. If that doesn't fix the problem, it might be in the turn sgnal switch on the steering column.
If both bulbs are good for the backup lights and fuses are good, then the backup light switch, which is screwed into the side of the transmission has to bad.
When you select left or right do any of the bulbs come on? If you select left check front and back left side if one of the bulbs did not come on the flasher will not work. Change the bulb that is out. Same with the right. If the fuse for the turn signal is good (check fuse or replace do not use visual, some appear to be good but are not).
The emergency flasher is different from the turn signal flasher. Look at manual for location of turn signal flasher. If you manually lift and lower turn signal control you may hear a clicking under the dash to locate the flasher.
