The ignition timing is electronic, so presumably you want the camshaft valve timing.

Bearing cap bolts, yes.
the bolt that holds the camshaft gear, no. It is a torque to yield bolt.

Head tightening procedure and torque specs:
For M6 bolts:

• Step 1: 11 Nm (1.1 kg·m, 8.0 ft·lb)

For M10 bolts:

• Step 1: 52 Nm; 5.2 kg·m; 38.0 ft·lb
• Step 2: 82 Nm; 8.2 kg·m; 59.2 ft·lb
• Step 3: 0 Nm; 0 kg·m; 0 ft·lb
• Step 4: 52 Nm; 5.2 kg·m; 38.0 ft·lb
• Step 5: 103 Nm; 10.3 kg·m; 74.5 ft·lb

all bolt torques are determined by the bolt strength.

check the top of bolt head for marks and check edges of bolt head for more marks

this is covered in the FSM. ( i have and 04 , with same engine and a real FSM.)

caps are 102 INCH/Lbs, not FEET/lbs !

did you check to see if these are TTY, (torque to yield bolts?)

id get a real FSM on this car, while they are still around.
Chapter 11 and all that, and Canada exit, by 2014
