I have a 1988 volvo 760 turbo. it acts like it is fuel starved (i.e., losing power, stalls, dies while driving). I think the fuel filter needs to be replaced. Can you tell me where the fuel filter is located? Can you tell me what other mechanical problem(s) that would have the same symptoms? Please help!!
Check the air pipe from the air filter. make sure that it is connected to filter box top. if it is loose the car will run rough and stall.
Chang fuel filter fill up filter with full if you can on that one. with out spilling it that way thar is no air . check air filter. cheek for leaks
The filter is located eather under the car at the driver or rider side door.
Other probs can be
Bad fuel pump
Clogged air filter.
Clogged injectors
Water in the fuel tank.
Clogged catalytic converter
Bad MASS air flow sensor
Bad Throttle position sensor
Timing is off
