Plastic t hose connector cracked,what do i ask for at part store , lost broken part, this has three hoses connected to it, and it goes to the heater

If you're talking about where the heater hose connects to the heater core and the metal is corroded away then you'll need to replace the heater core. You don't need any special tools, but it's a time consuming job.

It probably broke off from a Tee fitting. Three hoses connect at one junction point. After it breaks off, you will only see two hoses that look like a single hose, but with a plastic connector holding them together. Also at that junction point, you will have a hole in the plastic connector, where the hose that came off the carb belongs. This broken Tee fitting creates a vacuum leak. Purchase a new Tee fitting, disconnect the old part, then install the new one.

Hi. I just had the same issue on my '99 Silverado last week. There are two connections for the heater hoses to the Heater core. One is white and the other is black. The Black one is available at any autoparts store for about 5 bucks but the white one is a dealer only part that the autoparts store guys will say does not exist. That is the bad news. The good news is that you do not need to use the dealer only part. The black fittings worked just fine for me. You will need to use a fuel line disconnect tool to remove the existing fittings from the heater core. These should run between 10 and 20 bucks for a set. Good luck. Joe

Take what you need to the auto parts store.

I assume that you are talking about the Thermostat Housing. (The plastic thing where the upper radiator hose mounts, along with a heater hose and a bypass hose.) These are bad about cracking and leaking. Dorman makes a replacement assembly for this. The kit comes with the entire assembly, including the thermostat. It should be available at most any parts store.

Strip it back and replace all the broken items/parts. New or good clean used parts. You do it or pay a repair shop. What is the problem or question. It is broken Fix it

this is a water pump bypass hose connector to the manifold, take the broken piece to a parts store and show it to them, it should have the threads still broken off in the manifold so explain that. To remove the broken piece ask for a EZ OUT to fit the piece you took to the store.
It is common for these to become brittle and break off but it is a simple fix.

Part you are referring to is your heater control valve. They generally develop small leaks where the actuator arm goes into the assembly. They are generally in the $30 dollar range and can easily be replaced.Don't forget to "top off colant level after repair!
