The rattle could be a loose frt end component, have the front suspension checked for worn ball joints or tie rod ends or even worn sway bar links, as far as the pinging make sure the egr valve is operating right, if it is then try a higher octane gas, good luck.

2007 Mercury Mariner 4WD 175,000 miles. Undercarriage rattle at slow speed on washboard road. No issues over large bumps or speed bumps. Have had inspected with no luck.

The most likely culprit would be the exhaust moving and tapping the bodywork or something nearby.

Could be springs or shocks?

Check engine rubber mountings.

If your spare wheel is in a wheel well in the trunk, check for something in there loose and shaking about.

2004 gmc yukon rattling and pinging under hood and inside. Loud inside and sounds like it's fluid moving with the rattle. Not wet inside of the truck.

These engines don't rattle and especially ping unless they are hot. And the sound of fluid thru the heater core. Tells me you are low on coolant. The engine is not cheap to replace.

Noise rattling

Too many to say just one but I can gif you a few things to look at. First would be the tie rods and ball joints. Then there is the end link pin. Calipers will make a rattle noise as well. My bet here is the ball joints though.

2007 town and country rattling

Check sway bar bushings/links and sway bar bushing/body mounts, rattle mostly when going over bumps/rough spots in the road.

Doors rattle when going over large bumps in the road

electrical tape the strikepins then loosen the strikepins with a pipe wrench and, readjust tighten and, remove the tape.
Sometimes the strike pins have a plastic sleeve if this is missing you must replace the strikepins because their diameter will be too small for the latch jaws and will rattle.
