The arm rest that put your arm on should have some screws holding it. sometimes they have little roound or square caps covering the screw wholes you can pop these off to access the screws.

The driver side electric window on my hyundai 2004 santa fe won't open

The fuse is not the problem there is no driver side fuse it is prob the connection where the wiring connects to the window up and down switch. You have to remove the door panel careful not to tear the sound deadener sheeting. You have to first remove the screws and pry the retaining clips with a special trim panel removal tool U can purchase from auto parts store, work slowly and carefully around the outer edge of the trim panel until its free. Then clean the connections between the wiring contacts. Reverse to reinstall door panel trim. Hope that Helps

Remove driver side door panel

In any of my knowledge, I would check the inside door handle for any screws, some pieces of the panel can cover up any hidden screws that keep the door panel held in place. once u get the coor panel loose, you have to most likely unhook the door handle from the panel, then go around the outside edges of the door panel with either a putty knife or a panel remover tool and pop the panel out at each held in spot. Once u get the panel off the frame, unclip the power windows connector. That should be everything.

VZ rear electric window removal

Hi Mark Inner door panel please note I am doing this from memory.

(1) remove insert inner door grab handle from base( flat edge) and remove screw inside.
(2) remove small triangular trim at door mirror if fitted held in by white plastic trim clip. On removal turn gently to door window as it may be hooked around window channel. Is there a screw in the door panel behind there? remove if there is.
(3) remove lug and screw in door handle catch.
(4) remove row of screws along base of door and side of speaker.
(5) remove push down button for lock, top of door trim small rectangular plastic clip lever out with small flat head screw driver.
(6) remove also the button guide screw and guide.
(7) There may be a screw below that triangular trim? number(2)
(8) Have a general look around but I thing that's all the screws.
(9) Hand under base of panel and side (lock side) and gently reef of panel from door now other side.
(10) lift panel upward as it is hooked over top of door and remove slowly incase there is any wiring or cables attached.

(11) remove weather membrane carefully this has to be refitted if damaged you could end up with water leak into the car.
(12) Either tape up window or have a second person to hold it.
(13) there is two access holes in door panel to remove a 10mm bolt from window to regulator either side, use 1/4 drive socket.
(14) remove 3 bolts around motor and disconnect wiring to motor. there may be two bolts and a hook? there is then a bolt top and bottom of the regulator guide and out on the cable, remove all.
(15) the regulator comes come's out of the large hole at the bottom of the door panel. Refitting is the reverse of the above.
Good luck I hope this helps.

What is approx. cost to have dealer replace driver side window switch on 2001 Hyundai Elantra? If I try it myself, any suggestions about popping the door panel? Thanks.

Removing a door panel is fairly easy. You need to remove around 10 screws from the door panel. each screw has a small plastic cover over it, that can be easily removed by a small flathead screwdriver. After all of the screws are removed, you have to pop the door panel off, and unclip all of the wires.
!!GOOD LUCK!! hope this helps

Replacing speakers in Mitsubishi Galant

If the car is an 03 galant it is very simple to remove.
DRIVER SIDE:
Remove the window crank if it is not Electric Window.
Remove the Screw that holds the "Open Door Handle" cover.
Remove the Screw that holds the "Pull Handle Pocket"
Remove both plastic covers.
Remove all 3 hidden crews that have a plastic cover over them.
One is toward the front of the door top and the other two are toward the rear of the door top and bottom side.
Carefully pry around the door trim panel to disengage it from th retaining clips, along the sides and bottom. If you have electric windows, disconnect the if from the door trim to access the speaker. Same procedure for both doors.
