Does it have a digital control panel? As this uses an electronic blower speed controller located at the engine compartment (rear engine block) fix on ac phlenum try to shake the connector or wire while the system is on.

2003 expedition heat/cool seats not working All other seat controllers work. Nothing unhooked and fuses are all good.

The diagnostic process for the heating and cooling is a very long and involved process and requires a couple of specialized diagnostic tools that you may not have.

Here are some of the easier things to physically check, which can be preventing the proper function of the seats:

Mechanical
  • Seat track
  • Climate controlled seat ducts

Electrical

  • Climate controlled seat ducts
  • Fuse(s)
  • Circuitry
  • Driver seat module (DSM)
  • Lumbar control switch
  • Memory set switch
  • Power seat motor
  • Seat control switch
  • Seat fan motor
  • Climate controlled seat module
  • Climate controlled seat switch

How do i replace heater relay on a 2005 ford crown vic

Do you have a manual or electronic automatic temp. control ? What's not working , blower not blowing air ? most of the time the blower motor resistor is at fault.

Why would the cooling fan not be working in a 2005 crown vic CVPI

Does it work when you turn the A/C on? The fan always kicks on with the A/C, if it doesn't look for a blown fuse. Or possibly a fan motor burnt up. If it works with the A/C but doesn't when the engine is too warm, it is probably the temperature sensor.

Why wont my a/c or heater fan come on?

When the blower works only on the high setting its usually a bad blower resistor which is right near the blower motor. now you say it would always blow high regardless of the fan speed setting that would indicate probably the climate control unit or a connector problem somewhere. finally it not working at all may be the climate control unit or connection went bad even further. it might have a blown fuse or a bad blower motor in addition to the climate control unit or connector problem .check for power and ground at the blower motor. the power is supplied from fuses and may have a relay also. the ground is supplied from the climate control unit and goes through the resistor to control the fan speed. good luck

I have a 2000 ford Crown vic and the cooling fan is not working but if I jump it with the battery it will work and it's over heating

The fan motor resistor is most likely bad. It guages the temperature of the coolant and controls voltage levels to the fan. It acts as a switch, similar to a coolant temp sensor does in the engine. Good luck!

2001 Crown vic LX Sport..Blower motor inop car has auto climate control. blower stopped then worked again then stopped again.

The blower motor might be bad, turn it on,high blower, and bump the blower motor body with the palm of your hand,if it starts to run,or tries to run, then replace the blower motor.
