You may need a mechanic for this. If the engine cranks the starter and battery are ok. It if cranks but does not start, you would need to know if you have spark to the plugs, fuel to the injectors and normal compression. To answer your other question, you would remove the spark plugs and use a gauge to check compression.
If you don't have any electric functions working I would have to say that the battery is dead. Where the lights left on last night or a door open? You can take the battery out and take it to your local auto parts store and they can test it for you to make sure it's not dead and if it's not, then you can have them charge it for you. Let me know if you need anything else.
Regardless of the battery age, sounds to me as if you have a drain on the electrical system First thing to do is completely recharge battery. An initial quick inspection might show a light staying on, whether it be a door , reading, glove box, or trunk lights, among many other things. If nothing is obvious an electical reading of the system while removing and reinstalling fuses will show the circuit causing the drain, Hope this helps
does it have an autostart? if you have two keys (this will only work if you have two) turn the key to on in the ignition and wait till the theft light goes out do this for each key this may fix your problem.
