I have a 2004 Daytona 600. It's been sitting for several years. I changed the battery, oil, gas, and spark plugs but it still won't start. Engine turns but don't know of it's not getting gas or fuel.

You should hear the pump in the gas tank turn on for 2 seconds when you turn the key to on, not start. A buzz or hum from the tank area? If yes, the pump is supposed to put enough pressure in the line to the engine and the injectors for the car to start. Maybe not enough pressure if it won't start. Change the fuel filter and try again. If no help, maybe a weak, tired pump. You will need the fuel pressure checked to compare to specs for your model . Autozone and others rent or loan fuel pressure testers.

If no noise from the pump, check the fuel pump fuse, under the hood in the power distribution center or fuse/relay box. In that same place is the fuel pump relay. Locate the pump relay from a diagram on the fuse/relay cover. Hold your finger lightly on this pump relay while someone cycles the ignition key from off to on. If the pump circuit is working right, you should feel the relay click. That should send power to the fuel pump to turn it on for that 2 second period. If you feel it click and the fuse is good, possibly the pump or the pump's ground wire is faulty. If you don't feel the relay click with key turned to on, the fuel pump circuit will have to be diagnosed. Good luck with your project. Let me know how you progress.

Where is fuse and relay on the fuel pump a 2005 kia sedona and is there a fuel pump restart buttom

Look in the fuse box in the engine bay near the battery for (Right Hand Drive models.) Look on the inside of the cover and you will see a 'map' of all the fuses and relays. Align the map to compare with the arrangement of fuses and relays in the box to make it easier. No fuel pump restart button. This guide is for petrol(gasoline) model.

Engine will crank but not turn over. Suspect fuel pump relay or fuse.

Testing the fuel pump electrical circuit would be the way to see if the fuel is the problem ! Learning how to test automotive electrical systems would also be helpful .
Fuel Pump Electrical Circuits Description and Operation
Also looking at a wiring diagram for your vehicle would be helpful as well . You would do that to see what all is involved in the fuel pump electrical circuit on your vehicle. Also pulling a spark plug wire while cranking the engine over to check for spark .
Free wiring diagrams herehttp://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html
Enter the vehicle info. year , make , model and engine size . Under system click on engine ,then under subsystem click on fuel controls . Click the search button ,then the blue links.
But first ,hook up a fuel pressure gauge instead of guessing if it's the fuel pump . You don't know any of this , suggest you take it to a qualified repair shop .

Truck wont start

If you have no fuel pressure at the engine when key is on, the pump is not coming on. Check fuel pump fuse, check fuel pump relay (relay should click when key turned to on-put finger lightly on it and feel for click when someone turns key to on). If no click, signal from computer may be lost, ground for relay may be lost, or relay may be bad. If it clicks, wiring from relay to pump may have failed, or the relay's main power source may not be there at relay-find the fuse link or maxi-fuse that powers that relay. One terminal at relay should be hot at all times-can check for that with a test light.
If pump is working and you do have fuel pressure, you will need to check injector circuit. Post back if questions, or need further help.

Where is the main fuel relay located

Stand by the gas tank while someone turns the key to ON. Listen for the fuel pump to come on for a second or two as it should. It will only come on for about two seconds to pressurize the fuel system, then shut off and only come on again when the engine is cranked. If you hear it, then the pump is working. Hence, you would smell gas after cranking the car a bit. If no sound from the pump, look for the relay in the power distribution box under the hood. The box's cover should have a diagram for fuel pump location. Or your owner's manual might show it.

My ford taurus is not getting gas to the intake i checked all the fuses and there all good.

mike42353 it is called a fuel inertia cut off switch, first thing i would look at is the fuel pump pressure if there is none check the f/p fuse if that is ok check for power at the fuel pump if no power at the f/p find your f/p relay it will be in the main fuse box in the engine bay remove relay bridge the power terminal with the f/p wire if pump works it should be the relay ,after that if you dont here pump working you need to get it checked out with a certified tech, regards agwbk

2000 Chrysler Sebring LXi will turn over but not start. Is there a fuse that controls the fuel, if so where is it? Could it be the fuel pump?

There is a fuel pump relay in the main distribution fuse box under the hood,
But you didn't say whether you had spark or not,
Also you can eliminate the fuel pump by checking your fuel pressure at the reed valve under the hood.

97 Tarus wont start

recheck spark by putting a plug into one of the plug wires and place on valve cover, crank engine and see saprk in that plug. check fuel pressure during cranking to verify fuel supply. If you have no fuel pressure check fuses and fuel pump relay, in fuse box and power distribution box under the hood. If all are good check for power at the fuel pump connector with the key in start position, in run position the power will only be there for about 5 seconds, you are correct with fuel and spark it should run, let me know what you find
