Call your local dealer with your VIN handy. They can give you the code if the original radio is still in the car. If that doesn't work the radio needs to be removed. The serial number can then be used to compute to code, which is NOT the last four digits of the serial number.
Call your local Mercedes-Benz dealer and give them the radio serial number located on the back of the radio. They will give you the radio code for your radio. Hope that helps.
umm you can go back to mb dealer service desk with yer registration and DL. which is proof of ownership. they should give you the code free of charge.my recent w210 has same problem after disconnect n reconnect the battery terminal. good luck
Its inside your car manual on the left side as you open it up, it'll be a lil grey card that will have the radio code written on it... read the manual and it'll tell you how to put the numbers in.
i have same problem on 1997 s420, don't know why it is happening. but you can replace cigar lighter fuse then replace seat/mirrors/steering wheel fuse and all is well. thnx
