My 2006 chevy impala will not start its stating reset pass key . I replace the battery , I was then told it was the key itself however a mechanic stated if everthing comes on with the key then its not the key. I had the altanator replace and it still will not start however I notice a strange sound since getting new speakers added to my vehicle

Im stumped have a 08 superduty 6.4 just rebuilt the eng started eng has 10 psi oil pressure its a new oil pump every thing had breakin lube and the pressure releaf valve is all the way up,i have oil i

Sounds like there is wear elsewhere causing the drop in oil pressure. I thicker oil will raise the pressure but could also further damage the engine.

What is the recommended maintenance for 2007 f350 superduty diesel at 55000 miles

With diesels all you really have to do is change the oil, fuel filters, air filter, and transmission filter. If you have 4x4 get the differentials service as well as the transfer case and you should be good to go.

I want to change the gear oil in differential. I have a 2001 superduty 2WD, what weight gear oil is recommended for this? I can't find an answer anywhere.

Gear oil comes in 90 or 130 weight. depends on where you live and how you use your truck what you use. Your Ford Dealer is best fitted to answer this question ... probably for free if you give a call.

Smokes blue and white but not burning no oil or

if u have a 302 or 5.0L it probably is early warning signs of burning oil. Check pcv valve and change oil and use a quart of lucas engine restore. It may also be valve stem seals if only smokes when u start it up.

What are the oil change guidelines for 2005 E-350 superduty chassis with more than 90,000 miles...the same question for the transmission fluids?

The good practice is to change the oil every 3,000 miles...but what really dictates this is what type of driving condition you are incurring.

If you drive all highway miles then an oil change between 1,500 and 3,000 miles is highly encouraged.

Dirty/dusty conditions....definitely around 1,500 to 2,000 miles.

The average for tranny fluid/filter changes goes from the additional 60-90,000 mile mark and then every 50,000-60,000 miles after that....it is shortened by heavy duty and dirty/dusty conditions.
