Not hark just get a wire and splice into the rear light and run the wire to the front light harness (behind light where a clip plugs it to it) and it will work as normal

The flasher unit for the four ways is separate from the turn signal.
If the rear light is flashing fast means the front light is malfunctioning. Check all wiring from the dash to the light itself. I had one a wire was pinched and had broken
If you confirm the side marker lights, tail lights, fog lights and/or dash illumination are inop, and fuse number 39 is open, the wire harness is chafed/damaged at either the left or right front side marker lights....Removed both front side marker light and repair the harness wil fix your problem.....Let me know if you find any damaged wire harness

More likely it is the hazard/turnsignal/highbeam/cruise control switch module. It costs about $275 for the module. However there is a repair kit for the likely culprit...the hazard button. Try jiggling it around a little, see if that helps. Spray a little WD-40 into it so it can jostle back into it's correct position. You could try a junkyard unit or Ebay. It's not too hard to change. The hard part is doing it without removing the steering wheel. It can be done. I've done it. But hopefully you can locate the repair kit which costs about 15 dollars. Good luck.
