Does kia carnival 2000 model had an immobilizer?

The fuel filter is located in the fuel tank, pump removal is required to replace. There is an inspection cover behind the front seats on the floor to gain access to the pump. stupid idea. but whats not stupid about kia.

Try using the other key to lock and unlock the car and start it but keep the original key that was used when the wiring was messed with away from the car this has worked in the past also some times just let the car sit for a while and use the remote to lock it for a bit like 5 mins then unlock it with that second key we were talking about not the first one when the problem happened.

A couple things, the timing belt is wrong or the spark plug wires are wrong, Not getting any fuel, I would check these things out, especially the timing belt, Unless he has cranked it over 100 times to try to get it to start. Then it should be ok, check for spark, then wires, and if tat checks out, check the fuel. Gotta be something in there. hope this helps.
