My 2004 mitsubishi lancer ralliart is overheating when i leave the car running. Also, it will run hot even faster when the a/c is on. Further, the fan is not coming on. I jumped the fan directly to the battery and it came on. What do i do? Note when I'm driving the car's temperature is fine it is only when im stuck in traffic or something like that? Also all fluids are good!!

  • Replace the relay of the radiator fan that's one reason why your car is overheating.

Look for a blown fuse or faulty relay for the radiator fan. Turning the AC on should immediately turn the fan on so that you don't have to wait for the engine to warm up for a test. Don't allow the engine to overheat as it can cause warping of cylinder heads which leads to gasket problems.

How do I replace transmission fluid in a 2004 mitsubishi ralliart manual transmission? where are the plugs?

Look on the front side of the transmission, about half way down. There's a 17mm or 19mm fill plug. There's a similar drain plug on the bottom. Refilling the trans requires a funnel with a hose. Should take about 1.5L

My 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart fan stays on for about 10 seconds after I turn my car off. I checked the fluids and I topped off my coolant.

hello, these cars will do that, comp goes through, a cycle, fan usually last thing to turn off, it may not do it all the time, depend on how hot it gets, plus cools engine after its turned off

Does a 2003-2007 evo hood fit a 2006 lancer ralliart?

i dont think so. most evo have different headlight shape than the ralliart, but my advice will be go to cardomain.com and look at evos or something or sign up and ask around. some very nice ppl on there for helpful info.
