If the airbag warning light has started to come on, the only thing available is to bring it to the dealership. The airbag system is very complex and could deploy if a non-qualified mechanic works with it. Removing the fuse that operates the deployment switch will result in airbag not operating in the event of a crash. Please, take it to the dealer service department and have them check it out.

Airbag light reset code

You would need to reset the warning light and then see if it comes back on, which would indicate a fault still there. Try this procedure

http://s16.photobucket.com/user/rogersb/media/AirBagReset.jpg.html

"How do you reset the airbag warning light in a '94 Camry?
A: Clearing the warning light in '92-'96 Camrys by the following procedure:
In the DLC1 or DCL2 (data link connector under the hood, see following diagram)
Use two short wires, one wire at terminal TC and a different wire at terminal AB
With the ignition key ON - wait 6 seconds, then:
Ground terminal TC to good body ground for one second
Then ground terminal AB for one second
Then TC one second
Then AB one second
Then ground TC until the light blinks.
Make sure the interval between grounding terminals is not more than 0.2 sec.
Remove the ground wires
Be very careful to only use the correct terminals."

MY air baglight is going on in my 2002 taho, the dealer ship claims they can't find anything wrong with it, but it's going on for a reson

{: ) Normally, the airbag light will come on when you start your vehicle, and it will flash for a few seconds. Then the light should go out. This means the system is ready. This is the initial system check.
What is not normal is if it stays on after the system check or when the airbag lights come on while you are driving. That means a trouble was detected by the system and will request the airbag light on.Your airbag system may not function properly during this period.
However, if the conditions that set the fault no longer exist at one point or during a certain period, the system will automatically clear the warning light. This will also mean that your airbag system will work normally as expected.
If the dealer coudn't retrieve a code or unable to duplicate your concern, and find the system to be working as designed, certainly they will have to release your car. If you are the only witness and the problem still persists as you believe, your feedbacks on your next possible visit can be of great help in their diagnosis.
You can note down some other symptoms or instances of what actually transpired before or when the airbag light came on. For example, as when you move or adjust your seat, or when you put something underneath the seats, when you pulled the seatbelt, when you moved the steering wheel and pressed on the horn, or like when your rearview display is not normal, when you open the liftgate or hood, or does it come also with another warning light or message, and anything. The technician can only do shop tests, and he can't drive your car for so many days trying to duplicate the concern. It's always you with your vehicle most of the time, and driving on different road conditions.

The Airbag light comes on for no apparent reason and at different intervals

when this light comes on it is a warning that the airbag diagnsotic montior has sensed a problem in the airbag systems electrical components, the source of the problem is stored as a fault code and can be retrieved with a factory scan tools. Whenever this light is on the airbag system is disabled

2007 Sienna airbag warning lamp flashing

Certainly check with your Toyota Dealer as the vehicle is hopefully is still under factory warranty at that milage. The Air bag light flashing is certainly cause for concern, and having an airbag set off without impact can be very dangerous and it is best to have a professional working on your airbag issues.

Airbag warning lite blinks 6 times when starting then comes on but goes off intermittently while driving returning on at no particular interval. This just started today. In a 20 mile trip went on and off...

When the airbag light is on it means a fault has occurred in the system and the airbag diagnostic monitor has disabled the system, the most common problem that turns the light on is a break in the connection to the steering wheel mounted airbag, this is due to a rotating ribbon contact that breaks under the steering wheel that connects the airbag to the wiring harness and the diagnostic monitor, the part is called th clock spring contact, a coiled up ribbon electrical contact that turns with the wheel

Airbag indicator light

i dont know of any state that fails a vehicle for an airbag light but it would be wise to get the system checked out. it means there is a problem with the airbag system and itis possible it will not deploy during an accident or it may deploy without warning. the most likely cause would be a bad clockspring
