Usually, unless there is a problem with the engine, when a spark plug is ready for replacement - all the plugs are ready for replacement.

Hi Nancycardno,
The spark plug #6 is located on the cylinder head that is closest to the radiator and it is the one closest to the driver-side.Hope this helps,if you need anything else, let me know. Thanks,Chuck

getting a code reading for the spark plug, depending on how sophisticated the test equipment is, may also be a bad or loose plug wire to # 6.

1996 Ford Taurus will not start. The car has power and gas.

spark coils are located on top center of the engine under hood. wiggle connections and see if there are any loose. If you can not find the coils, follow the spark plug wires back from the spark plug it will lead to the coil. good luck

98 ford taurus dohc

You have to remove the parts that are in the way, then lay on top of the engine to get at the plugs, you will need a good spark plug boot removal tool as well or you will tear the plug boots, the plugs don't need changing until 100,000 miles.
