Turn the ignition key to the RUN position.
Fully push and release the accelerator pedal 3 times within 5 seconds. If the
CHANGE OIL SOON light flashes 2 times, the system is reset. However, if the
light comes on and stays on for 5 seconds, the system did not reset. Repeat the
procedure if the system does not reset.
This is for a 2001, I couldn't find info for a 2005, also said that a phone call to the dealer should answer it over the fone.
If you are asking about the engine oil life appearing on the display, it can be reset to 100%. Use the fuel button to reach the engine oil life screen, then press and hold the select button for five seconds. Do this each time the oil is changed so that the oil life system can alert you. I change mine at 5000 mile intervals, and the oil life has never gone to zero.
