Horn does not sound, i need to know where the horn relay is and where the horn itself is located. The fuse is good and pressing the horn button you can hear the relay clicking, so I suspect the horn relay is fine.

Horn is under the hood. usually right against the grill or mounted on fender well. fuses for horn can be under the dash, or in fuse panel under the hood.

How do I repair horn in the steering column

What is the problem with the horn. Check Fuse for Horn. Check Horn it is located under the bonnet. Near the front grill of the car. Check relay for horn most likely also located somewhere in engine compartment in a plastic box compartment with numerous relays. If horn not sounding should hear relay click when horn button pressed.
If horn is getting voltage at horn plug (positively switched horn design) then horn may need replacing. If negatively switched then horn connects to body of car when button pressed and other side of circuit has Plus 12 volts always on it.

How do I fix the horn on my 1964 Ford Thunderbird

check for 12 vots of power at the horn itself when pressing the horn button. If there is a reading then replace the horn unit. If there is no reading at the unit I would suspect no contact in the horn button/control itself.

I have a 2001 stratus and the horn doesn't work. When I press the horn I hear a clicking sound. The fuse is OK, what's the problem

The clicking sound you are hearing is the horn relay engaging trying to supply power to your horn. Most likely horn itself needs to be replaced. Locate horn underneath in front near grill. With test light check for ground & with someone pushing on horn switch, check for positive. If you have good ground & power when pushing on horn switch need to replace horn.

2003 dodge caravan airbag good horn doesnt work,so i jumped horn relay horn worked .so i now know relay to horn is good clock spring wiring horn pad?fuse compartment on wiring diagram has horn relay 20 amp...

if you check the wire that comes from the horn button to the relay for voltage when the horn is pushed and have voltage then you have a bad relay,if not then you probably have bad contacts in the horn pad area or even the clock spring itself.

Horn not working. When depressing the horn button on the steering wheel, only "clicking" sound is heard near the front passenger side. Checked the fuse and turned out to be unbroken. What's next?...

The clicking you hear is the horn relay working.
I would locate the horn and insure the wiring is intact and the horn has a good solid ground.
Then while someone is pressing the horn button measure the voltage at the wire that attaches to the horn to ground. If you get 12v or more the horn is bad. If you don't get any voltage replace the relay

Bought an 2004 honda accord and the horn does not work. What is the procedure for repairing this issue?

simple circuit, but can be hard if problem is switch in steering wheel. First check fuse and relay at fuse box. relay should click when horn button on wheel is pushed. If relay doesn't click, either button or relay is bad. If relay clicks, test for voltage at horn. You can use a simple test light available at the auto parts store if you don't have a voltmeter. If there is voltage at the horn, replace horn.
If relay does not click, replace relay to see if that fixes your problem. If new relay doesn't fix, you have a bad switch in the steering wheel or possibly bad wiring. cannot help you with switch as it's different on every car. any questions--let me know.

I have a 89 golf, horn doesn't work but it makes a clicking noise when the horn button is pushed any ideas to get it to work?

Your horn buzzer is either broken, or it is not getting power. The click you hear is the horn relay. It is good that you can hear it.

To diagnose the problem, locate the horn module. It should be behind the grill in the front of the car. Remove the power wire. Get an assistant to press the horn button while you measure voltage in the connector. If you have voltage, replace the horn. If not, find out why there is no voltage. It could be a blown horn fuse or a broken wire. Good luck.
