Check for vacuum leaks, check distributor cap and rotor button, clean or replace as necessary. Use quality injector cleaner.

Testimonial: "thank you i will try that"

Check for vacuum leaks, make sure that each coil pack is firing. The easy way to check for vacuum leaks is to spray carb cleaner around the top of your engine, if you have a leak, the engine will idle up.

This vehicle doesn't have a distributor cap. If you bought a parts house style plugwire make sure they are connecting properly. I've seen many of those not make correct contact with the coilpack. Also check your fuel filter and fuel pressure from the pump. If it runs rough at idle but not under accleration, could be something with Idle air circuit. Also check for engine codes, could even be an o2 sensor.

1992 buick lasabre runs weel for a few seconds then it feels like it is running on three cylinders

lets start off with the easy stuff check your spark plugs and wires make sure the plugs are at the correct gap and the firing order is correct and the wires are in good working order next check your mass air flow its going to be close to ur airfliter shoot some low psi air to clean it out some where around 60psi next if any cods you can take the battery cables off and touch the cables together when there off the battery hold for 5 secs if it is still running ruff then you may have a injector stoped up

I have a 1998 Chevy s10 blazer that is running ruff and shaking and bad smell from exhaust like sulfur. When I step on gas black smoke comes out of exhaust. There are no codes when hooked to code...

Check the spark, it should be blue, if it is yellow than you need to check your ignition system, coil, spark plugs, spark plug wires, dist cap, rotor ect.
Black coming out the exhaust is unburned fuel, when you have the spark plugs out do a compression test.

I have a 1999 oldsmobile intrigue that is misting a lot. It idels rough, and runs rough. I can still take off it is a little slow, but I can still go pretty fast, but it still mist at the high speeds...

fuel pressure regulator on the fuel rail is probably it or the egr valve is stuck open allowing burnt fuel to flood the intake, im leaning towards the fuel pressure regulator because the o2sensor is probably reading rich or if its reading lean then i would choose the egr valve . good luck

2002 Mercury mountaineer

you may have a bad coil---take a pair of rubber handle plyers & remove the spark plug wires 1 at a time---when you pull off a plug wire you should notic the truck runs even worse---the one you pull off & it doesnt change the way it runs--that is the cylinder that has the problem
